Ok so admittedly yesterdays poll was full of holes. I threw a favourite Doctor poll out there without taking into consideration the ratio of old/new fans which means that it would automatically be biased towards the latest three Doctors. Putting that aside though (and forgetting that I could ever make a mistake), the results are now in.
11th place went to Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor
10th place went to Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor
9th place went to Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor
8th place went to Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor
7th place went to Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor
6th place went to Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor
5th place went to Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor
4th place went to William Hartnell as the First Doctor
3rd place went to Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor
2nd place went to Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor
And the winner is:...
David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.
Polling over half of all votes cast, David Tennant has proved that he is still very much loved and missed.
However
Due to the fact that this poll was slightly biased, I will be redoing the poll in a few weeks, with an extra section to take into account the amount of people who havent seen the classic Who Doctors in action. The winner will then be worked out from the percentage of voters against the percentage of people who have seen all or some of the doctors which should make it fairer.
