Will We See River As A Child?

One of our forum members has today posted some spoilery speculation which could mean that we will be seeing River as a child in the upcoming series. The poster, Peri-Peri, claims that speculation is mounting on other forums that the person in this picture is River Song when she first meets the Doctor.


The little girl has apparantly been seen on set a lot and its speculated that she has quite a sizeable role. As Peri-Peri points out though, it could actually be anyone! What do you think? Let us know your thoughts

    Really? Well... I've seen a picture of a man... that must be the Doctor's future incarnation! There is absolutely no grounds for this.... at all... the only similar thing is that she's female.

    i think if they were going have an episode with River as a child, then they would hire a young actress with curly blonde hair.

    Well, it's ridiculous to think they'd have an actor or actress on set playing an original character for the episode - it's quite obvious that everyone is just a future or past incarnation of the primary characters, who needs a secondary cast to move an episode along?

    I'd say that since there is going to be an episode about evil dolls and a doll house... maybe its this girls doll house... like in forest of the dead, it was that girls library...

    Most likely its the little girl in the space suit, lol. Though, when she was reveled, i did think it may turn out that she is River. But that would be a bit of a stretch to believe.

    I think the girl in the space suit who regenerated is Amy's daughter, but when she was abducted by the silence (Who I believe are Omegas minions) the baby was altered with Omegas dna. Also, just seen the Doctors wife trailer and it talked about how the supposed time lords did the entities will - reminds anyone of Omega again???
