Todays BBC Lineup

Ok, so this is probably already burned into your memory, or scribbled on the back of your hand in bic pen, or saved on your Sky+ box, but just to be on the safe side, here is todays Doctor Who line up!

Kicking off this evenings events on BBC 1 and HD at 6PM is The Impossible Astronaut, the first episode of the newest series of Doctor Who

The Doctor and his friends are reunited under mysterious circumstances, as the science-fiction drama returns for a new series. Amy, Rory, River and the Doctor receive a series of numbered envelopes, each containing a date, time and map reference. These messages bring them together in the middle of the Utah desert, where the Doctor's friends learn a terrible secret that must be kept from the Time Lord at all costs. But who sent the envelopes, and who received the missing number one? Their quest for answers takes the TARDIS crew to the Oval Office, where President Richard Nixon enlists their help in saving a terrified little girl from a mysterious spaceman.

At 18.45 over on the CBBC Channel, My Sarah Jane: A Tribue To Elisabeth Sladen will air. It is a 15 minute tribute to the actress who sadly passed away this week, with thoughts and comments from friends and colleagues of the star

Then, at 7pm on BBC 3 we have Doctor Who Confidential...

In Utah, the episode director tries to find the perfect movie-style backdrop to one of the most ambitious scenes to date, Matt Smith dons his stetson and gives a run-down of the USA filming and the crew talk about the thrills of filming in the Utah desert. Back on home ground, there's the creation of the Oval Office, the much-debated return of River Song and a whole load of backstage action from this spectacular two-parter. Featuring interviews with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and Alex Kingston.

Don't miss a single minute of it, and to discuss it all, make sure you join us over at THE DOCTOR IN THE TARDIS FORUM
