Is It Time For New Companions? - Vote Now
As one poll ends, another one starts and this week we want to know if you think that it is time to have a change of faces in the TARDIS.
The amount of time the companions have stayed travelling with the Doctor has varied throughout the years, but since the show returned in 2005 we have become more accustomed to a shorter stint from the sidekick. The current companions, Amy and Rory, are entering their second year of travelling with the Doctor but at the end of series 6 will it be time for them to go and for a new face to come aboard?
The poll is over there to the right of the screen and you have until Friday 22nd April to get those votes in.

Which Story Are You Most Excited For? Poll Results
Ok, so you've had days to sit and ponder and put your votes in to let us know which of the 5 upcoming stories you are most looking forward too, and once again you came out in force to make your choices, so without further ado, here is how the voting went down.
Receiving just 3% of the votes and coming in last place is episode 3, The Curse Of The Black Spot. This story will see The Doctor, Amy and Rory aboard a 17th century pirate ship and an ethereal blue sea siren in the form of Lily Cole, but even all that wasn't enough to get you all excited.
Coming only slightly ahead of that is this years second two parter, The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People. Taking place in a monastry full of half finished clones, only 5% of the voters said they were most excited for this story.
Third place on our poll is handed to A Good Man Goes To War. Taking 17% of the vote, the mid series finale will see the reveal of River Songs secret and the return of many old villains, but it still wasn't enough to take the top spot.
Our runner up, with 35% of the total votes in the Neil Gaiman penned episode The Doctor's Wife. The story, rumoured to feature the return of the Time Lords and something not seen since The War Games was in the lead for much of the poll, but was finally beaten by...
The Impossible Astronaut/Day Of The Moon, which took the title of Most Anticipated Upcoming Story with 40% of the final votes. The opening two parter will see the TARDIS Team travelling to Utah in the USA, battling the Silents and the MIB and coming face to face with Nixon himself. And for the 40% of you who made this the winner as the story you are most want to see, the great news is that there is now only 6 days left to wait for it.

Who Dies? Poll Results!
For days now we have been asking you who you think will die in the opening episode and you voted in your masses. You had four characters to choose from, and this is how you went:
Amy received the lowest amount of votes, notching up just 15% of the final total, but will she be around to fight another day once the episode is over?
Rory came in third place with 22% of the total votes. After dying so many times last series it seems most of you want to give him a break this time around.
The Doctor came in second place, just a little bit ahead of Rory with 23% of the total votes.
But River Song ran away with it, with 40% of voters either thinking or hoping that she will meet her maker in the opening story. But will she?
To find out for sure we have just ten days to wait. Did you vote correctly? I guess we will soon see!

Todays Poll: Who Will Die?
It was just too much to resist. We have been told that one of the four main characters will die and so todays poll will try to find out who you THINK will die as apposed to who you WANT to die.
I've never had to use capitals before but I have spoken to enough of you to know you would happily see a couple of them bumped off :)
We already know that they will all be in multiple episodes and though DWM has promised that someone really will die, its pretty certain that there is more too it, so todays poll, as a bit of fun is to find out who you think is going to snuff it.

Year Of The Whoniverse
Before I went away for a while due to illness, I set up a poll asking which of the three returning Whoniverse shows you were most looking forward to. You all voted, and after a longer than normal wait, here is how you voted.
6% of the people who voted said that the show that they were most looking forward to returning in 2011 was the fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. The series is returning in the Autumn and there is speculation that it may be the last.
46% of the people who voted said that they were most looking forward to the return of Doctor Who. The sixth series of the show since it's return in 2005 is due to air from April and sees the Doctor, Amy and Rory tackle pirates in the 17th century, visit area 51 and get trapped in a house of living dolls.
Surprisingly though to some, the show that wins the round, taking 48% of the votes and leading by a tiny margin is the fourth series of Torchwood. Under the umbrella title of Miracle Day, Torchwood returns in July with a nearly all new cast and American setting.

We're Going Through Changes
As promised a few weeks ago, the news site is undergoing some changes and some of those will be taking effect straight away.
Starting from today you will see the return of the reviews, starting mainly with the audios but then extending to DVD and other merchandise releases along the way. When the site first launched reviews and discussion topics were almost as popular as the spoilers, so it is about time they were brought back.
We will also be running our daily polls again to give everybody the chance to get involved with aspects of the site. The first, starting today and running for 24 hours will be launched this afternoon so keep your eyes peeled for that.
More changes will be anounced over the coming weeks so keep checking back and thanks for sticking with The Doctor In The TARDIS.

The Regeneration Poll
Ok, so yesterday some information was doing the rounds in regards to the regeneration limit which is soon to be addressed in The Sarah Jane Adventures. Though it seems now that that information may be incorrect, the poll was already well underway, so in case it all turns out to be true, here is how the masses voted.
25% of the people who voted said that the regeneration limit should go up, but be capped so that there is at least an end point.
Another 25% of voters said that the regeneration limit should not be touched and should remain at regens with 13 incarnations.
50% of the voters however, said an unlimited amount was a good thing and there shouldnt be a limit to how many times the Doctor can regenerate.
So there we have it. The results are in. Do you agree with the results?

Return Of The Old School Daleks
After all the furore surrounding the new and colourful Daleks, Steven Moffat has gone on record to say that they were only created as a way to get money out of the BBC because they only had 3 Dalek props in storage, and that the old RTD style ones will be making their return.
With that in mind, we wanted to know in our latest poll if you were happy with this.
2% of the people who voted said that they would prefer to stick with the new design seen in Series 5
24% said they dont want to see the Daleks return in any form
35% of voters said they like both designs so would be happy to see either
But just inching ahead, 39% of the people who voted said that they would prefer to see a return to the older design as they dont like the new one.
So there we have it. Do you agree with these results? Let us know below. The polls return on Monday.
