The Doctor In The TARDIS Podcast #3

Episode 3 of the Doctor In The TARDIS Podcast is here. We have a jam packed edition this time around (without spoilers) and it is our longest podcast yet. In fact, we had so much content that the Members Questions had to be moved to the next edition and loads of it had to be trimmed down so you weren't sat listening for days on end.

Coming up this time...
  • The input of fandom on the show
  • Snacking for Doctor Who
  • The impacts of being too spoiled
  • A closer look at Doctor Who Insider (coupled with a moan about Doctor Who Magazine)
  • Murray Gold and the music of series 6
  • A Debate about canon, and
  • How to avoid ending up in an ambulance during the first airing of an episode
Plus a whole heap more. So, without any more waffle from me, check it out by streaming....

Or by downloading it HERE

Is It Time For New Companions? - Vote Now

As one poll ends, another one starts and this week we want to know if you think that it is time to have a change of faces in the TARDIS.

The amount of time the companions have stayed travelling with the Doctor has varied throughout the years, but since the show returned in 2005 we have become more accustomed to a shorter stint from the sidekick. The current companions, Amy and Rory, are entering their second year of travelling with the Doctor but at the end of series 6 will it be time for them to go and for a new face to come aboard?

The poll is over there to the right of the screen and you have until Friday 22nd April to get those votes in.

More If I Had A Time Machine...

Yesterday we brought to you two videos from Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill telling us what they would do if they had a time machine, and today it is the turn of Steven Moffat. If you want to know what the head writer for Doctor Who would do if he had a time machine of his own, check out the video below.

Which Story Are You Most Excited For? Poll Results

Ok, so you've had days to sit and ponder and put your votes in to let us know which of the 5 upcoming stories you are most looking forward too, and once again you came out in force to make your choices, so without further ado, here is how the voting went down.

Receiving just 3% of the votes and coming in last place is episode 3, The Curse Of The Black Spot. This story will see The Doctor, Amy and Rory aboard a 17th century pirate ship and an ethereal blue sea siren in the form of Lily Cole, but even all that wasn't enough to get you all excited.

Coming only slightly ahead of that is this years second two parter, The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People. Taking place in a monastry full of half finished clones, only 5% of the voters said they were most excited for this story.

Third place on our poll is handed to A Good Man Goes To War. Taking 17% of the vote, the mid series finale will see the reveal of River Songs secret and the return of many old villains, but it still wasn't enough to take the top spot.

Our runner up, with 35% of the total votes in the Neil Gaiman penned episode The Doctor's Wife. The story, rumoured to feature the return of the Time Lords and something not seen since The War Games was in the lead for much of the poll, but was finally beaten by...

The Impossible Astronaut/Day Of The Moon, which took the title of Most Anticipated Upcoming Story with 40% of the final votes. The opening two parter will see the TARDIS Team travelling to Utah in the USA, battling the Silents and the MIB and coming face to face with Nixon himself. And for the 40% of you who made this the winner as the story you are most want to see, the great news is that there is now only 6 days left to wait for it.

If I Had A Time Machine...

BBC America has uploaded two clips featuring Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill telling us what they would do if they had a time machine. If one surfaces of Matt Smith it will be uploaded later, but for now check out what they had to say.

All New Series 6 Images

Of the 8 photos below, 7 are promos from the opening two parter, but the last one is one comes from episode three. Shame they are a little Rory-lite, but they are great nonetheless
