Which Story Are You Most Excited For? Two Hours Left To Vote
With the first half of Series 6 just around the corner, our latest poll is to find out which of the stories you are most excited for.
There are 7 episode to be shown in the first half, making up 5 stories. We know we have pirates and clones and Silents and strange ladies coming up over the next few weeks, but which story are you most looking forward to?

New Impossible Astronaut Trailer

The Doctor In The TARDIS Podcast #2
We made it to our second podcast! And after a week on the interweb we are bringing it to you again in case you missed it the first time around.
We had such a great response to the first and it has already been listened to so many times, so we all just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has listened or downloaded. Please keep coming back because we have such fun recording them.
This podcast though, very nearly didnt see the light of day. So many things went wrong, probably worst of all being the recording equipment deciding to stop working on the day of discussion. Like the troopers that we are though we pressed ahead, and despite having to hit the record button on the temporary equipment every 5 minutes we managed to come away with a podcast even longer than the last one.
Now, due to the hiccups we encountered some of the audio is a bit crackley in parts (most notably when I speak due to my dreadful mic) and some background noise managed to filter through but its easy to ignore and doesnt crop up much and we didnt want to leave you without a new cast this week so we had to press on regardless. Worry not though, new microphones and a new recording system is already in place and the next one will be pitch perfect.

How is a duck pond a duck pond, if there are no ducks?
That was a question we were asked on our last podcast that had most of us stumped. If only we knew then what we know now. You see, it turns out that Forbidden Planet had taken all the ducks and boxed them up for your bathtime enjoyment.
Retailing at £6.99 from Forbidden Planet, they even light up once you put them in the water. They aren't official merchandise, but they sure do look fun.

Review: I, Davros - Innocence
In a departure from her Eighth Doctor audios, todays review from Peri-Peri comes from the first in the I, Davros series.
Today, I bring to you, I, Davros: Innocence.
This story is set over 4 seperate parts recounting, amongst other things, how Davros came to be, and why he is the crazy maniacal megalomaniac we have come to love. It features Terry Malloy as Davros, whom classic fans will know from Resurrection, Revelation and Rememberence of the Daleks. Another of its stars is Richard Franklin, who played Mike Yates for three years in the 1970's, though he is playing a different character this time around. I will get the synopsis out of the way first and then give my take.
This story starts out with the Daleks needing a favour from Davros. The request for help that they put to him kick starts the audio, sending the listener back to Davros' teen years where most of the story takes place. From here on in believe it or not, some of the scenes are actually really quite poignant and touching. The death of some of his closest family in a bomb explosion, along with the revelation of his illigitemacy really draws you in, to the point where you start to sypathise with him and understand his descent into dastardliness. The younger Davros is brilliantly acted and you begin to realise that this character could have had quite a promising life if circumstances had been different.
It is towards the end of this story that Davros commits his first real act of evil, much to the delight of his mother, and you know from here on in that things are headed downhill. When we cut back to the present day at the end of the audio, you can hear the hurt still in Davros voice about how this all started, but not really any hint of remorse for his actions. It really makes you begin to wonder if all of this came about because of an in built evil, or if it was because he was forced into a situation where he needed to become this way in order to survive. There is a scene at the end where he talks about being 'more of a man' and it is really powerful stuff, making you wonder if he is saying it as fact to us and the Daleks or whether he is saying it so he can convince himself it is true.
Despite the persona he shows off, this audio really starts to strip layers off of the character and make you question what you already know of him. But more than that it starts making steps towards making you begin to understand him. I wasnt the biggest fan of Davros beforehand, but I loved this story (and the subsequent ones) and wholeheartedly reccomend it.

Day Of The Moon Airdate And Length Confirmed
Speculation has been crazy this year that episode two might air the same or following night to the opener, and even with DWM giving a date of April 30th, speculation still seemed to mount. It probably wasn't helped by the fact that the BBC seemed determined to drag their heels with any sort of confirmation.
Today though, the BBC press office officially confirmed that Day of the Moon will air in the uk at 6pm on April 30th for one hour. They even gave us a little synopsis for keeping us waiting, so we can forgive them this time. If you are staying spoiler free, then the below is a little spoilery.
The Doctor is locked in the perfect prison while Amy, Rory and River Song are being hunted down across America by the FBI, as the time-travelling adventure series continues.
With the help of new friend and FBI-insider Canton Everett Delaware the Third, our heroes are reunited to share their discoveries, if not their memories. The world is occupied by an alien force that controls humanity through post-hypnotic suggestion, and no one can be trusted.
Aided by President Nixon and Neil Armstrong's foot, the Doctor must mount a revolution to drive out the enemy and rescue the missing little girl. No one knows why they took her. Or why they have kidnapped Amy Pond...

The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People Plot Details
Total Film have revealed some new information regarding the plot of episodes 5 & 6 of the new series, The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People, which DWTV have managed to get hold of.
The episodes, penned by Matthew Graham, are due to air towards the end of May and according to the article:
Shot in various crumbling castles, "The Rebel Flesh" centres on an acid-mining operation in a 22nd-Century monastery where the dangerous work is done by doppelgängers cloned in a 'flesh bowl'.Up to now, not very much has been known about the story, though there has been lots of previous speculation. What do you think? Sound good?
Matt Smith’s Doctor and newly-wed co-flyers Amy and Rory gatecrash the party when a TARDIS trip to Whitby gets mysteriously slammed off-course. Then a storm hits and the whole shebang screeches off-piste.
"The gangers go through stages before they become human-looking, and you see those stages," says Mark Bonnar, who plays the mining op’s second-in-command Jimmy. "They can be, er… not pretty to look at, you might say!"
Doctor Who Cast Video Interviews
Matt Smith, Karen Gillen and Arthur Darvill have each given interviews to MTV about the upcoming series which you can now watch below. Combined, the interviews come in at just under 25 minutes and are well worth a watch for some interesting insights on what to expect.
