Matt Smith Vows To Keep Amy Pond On Our Screens

The rumour mill has been going at 100mph with the news that Amy Pond will be killed off in the middle of Series 6, but Matt Smith has spoken out to say that he will stop it from happening, saying he will 'save her'.

Talking to the Belfast Telegraph, Matt said:

"I just think for this particular Doctor, his bond with Amy, I think there's a lot more mileage in it yet. I think there's a long way to go. So I can't see it happening any time soon."

The news also indicates that even if Amy was to leave in the near future, Matt has no plans too, as has also been speculated.

This is news that is sure to once again split fandom, with the popularity of Amy Pond still very much divided.
